Coach Lucía
Rugby and fitness coach, San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- San Francisco Crown Community Club
- Since 1985
- English
For 41 years I've run the rugby program at San Francisco Crown Community Club in San Francisco. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Lucía
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Lucía: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
