Coach Lucía
Chess coach, Iztapalapa Atlas Football Club
- 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Iztapalapa Atlas Football Club
- 2015 to 2025
- Spanish
I coached chess at Iztapalapa Atlas Football Club from 2015 to 2025. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Coach Lucía
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Lucía: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
