Coach Lucía
Rowing coach, Savannah Sports Club
- 🇺🇸 Savannah, Georgia, United States
- Savannah Sports Club
- 2000 to 2023
- English, French
I coached rowing at Savannah Sports Club from 2000 to 2023. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Lucía: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from London.
