Coach Lucas
Coached wrestling for 34 years in Pelotas
- 🇧🇷 Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
- Pelotas Athletic Club
- Since 1992
- Portuguese
I've coached wrestling at Pelotas Athletic Club since 1992. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Lucas
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Lucas: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 1999. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Salé.
