Coach Lorena
Rugby and fitness coach, Uberlândia
- 🇧🇷 Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil
- 1994 to 2003
- Portuguese
For nine years I ran the rugby program at Uberlândia Bamboo Swimming Club in Uberlândia. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Lorena
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Lorena: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
