Coach Liza
Wrestling and fitness coach, Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Crown Youth Club
- 1984 to 2000
- English, Filipino
For 16 years I ran the wrestling program at Crown Youth Club in Manila. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
More about Coach Liza
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Liza: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
