I've coached tennis at Parkside Sports Club since 2013. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Coach Liza: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
