Coach Lily
Baseball coach, Silverlake Boxing Gym
- 🇺🇸 Lexington, Kentucky, United States
- Silverlake Boxing Gym
- Since 2004
- English, Spanish
I've coached baseball at Silverlake Boxing Gym since 2004. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Lily: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
