Coach Lilian
Volleyball and fitness coach, Kisumu
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- Kisumu Boxing Gym
- Since 2013
- English, Swahili
I've coached volleyball at Kisumu Boxing Gym since 2013. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Lilian
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Lilian: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
