Coach Liang
Coached swimming for 41 years in Dayton
- 🇺🇸 Dayton, Ohio, United States
- Since 1985
- English, Mandarin
I've coached swimming at Valley View Sports Club since 1985. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Liang
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
