For eight years I ran the cross country program at Jakarta Barat Our Lady of Peace Youth Club in Jakarta Barat. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

You coached me in 2004. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Saint Petersburg.
