Coach Leonardo

Coached volleyball for 48 years in Caruaru

  • 🇧🇷 Caruaru, Pernambuco, Brazil
  • Caruaru Athletic Club
  • Since 1978
  • Portuguese
I've coached volleyball at Caruaru Athletic Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Coach Leonardo

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Leonardo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
