Coach Leonardo
Wrestling coach, Coventry Sports Club
- 🇬🇧 Coventry, England, United Kingdom
- Coventry Sports Club
- Since 1999
- English
For 27 years I've run the wrestling program at Coventry Sports Club in Coventry. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Leonardo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Leonardo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
