I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 650 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Leo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 1995. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Envigado.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
