Coach Layla
Coached chess for twelve years in Heliopolis
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Heliopolis Athletic Club
- 1992 to 2004
- English, Arabic
I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 600 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.

What gifts mean to Coach Layla: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
