I coached rugby at Jacksonville Athletic Club from 1985 to 2006. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Coach Lawrence
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Lawrence: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
