Coach Lawrence
Coached cricket for 34 years in Auckland
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- Auckland Athletic Club
- Since 1992
- English
I've coached cricket at Auckland Athletic Club since 1992. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Coach Lawrence
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Lawrence: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
