I've coached boxing at San Jose Harmony Football Club since 2011. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
