I'm a martial arts coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 1,300 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Lauren
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Lauren: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
