For 33 years I've run the softball program at Duque de Caxias Youth Club in Duque de Caxias. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Larissa
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Larissa: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
