I've coached badminton at St. Petersburg Sports Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Landon
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
