Coach Landon
Coached tennis for eight years in Bronx
- 🇺🇸 Bronx, New York, United States
- Atlas Community Club
- 1983 to 1991
- English
I coached tennis at Atlas Community Club from 1983 to 1991. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Landon
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Landon: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
