Coach Krishnan
Boxing coach, Eastgate Boxing Gym
- 🇮🇳 Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
- Eastgate Boxing Gym
- Since 1978
- English, Kannada
I've coached boxing at Eastgate Boxing Gym since 1978. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Krishnan
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Krishnan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
