I coached softball at Cape Coast Sports Club from 1980 to 2007. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
