Coach Kipchoge

Basketball and fitness coach, Dar es Salaam

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Boxing Gym
  • Since 1982
  • English, Swahili, Spanish
For 44 years I've run the basketball program at Dar es Salaam Boxing Gym in Dar es Salaam. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
