Coach Kimani
Cricket and fitness coach, Embakasi
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Embakasi Boxing Gym
- 1994 to 2011
- English, Swahili
For 17 years I ran the cricket program at Embakasi Boxing Gym in Embakasi. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Kimani
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Kimani: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
