Coach Kimani
Youth football coach and mentor
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Since 1981
- English, Swahili
I'm a football coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,220 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Kimani
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Kimani: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
