Coach Khalid
Coached swimming for 39 years in Alexandria
- 🇪🇬 Alexandria, Alexandria, Egypt
- Elmwood Athletic Club
- Since 1987
- English, French
For 39 years I've run the swimming program at Elmwood Athletic Club in Alexandria. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
