Coach Kerem
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇹🇷 Ankara, Ankara, Türkiye
- Westbrook Sports Club
- Since 2008
- English
I've coached rowing at Westbrook Sports Club since 2008. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Kerem
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Kerem: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
