For 39 years I've run the swimming program at Lagos Community Club in Lagos. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Kayode: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
