I coached cross country at Leeds Eastgate Football Club from 1994 to 2017. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.

What gifts mean to Coach Kaylee: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
