Coach Kavita

Youth chess coach and mentor

  • 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
  • Kilimanjaro Swimming Club
  • 1993 to 2024
  • English
For 31 years I ran the chess program at Kilimanjaro Swimming Club in Mumbai. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
