Coach Karanja
Youth volleyball coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Embakasi Willow Creek Swimming Club
- Since 1986
- English, Swahili, Spanish
For 40 years I've run the volleyball program at Embakasi Willow Creek Swimming Club in Embakasi. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Karanja
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Karanja: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
