Coach Kaori
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇯🇵 Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan
- 1995 to 2014
- English, Japanese
For 19 years I ran the rowing program at Harbor Boxing Gym in Kitakyushu. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
