Coach Kamrul
Athletics and fitness coach, Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Athletic Club
- Since 1999
- English
For 27 years I've run the athletics program at Dhaka Athletic Club in Dhaka. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Coach Kamrul: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Jakarta.
