Coach Kamala
Youth athletics coach and mentor
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Kathmandu Gateway Sports Club
- 1990 to 2017
- English, Nepali
I coached athletics at Kathmandu Gateway Sports Club from 1990 to 2017. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Kamala
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Kamala: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
