Coach Kamala
Rugby and fitness coach, Dharan
- 🇳🇵 Dharan, Koshi, Nepal
- Dharan Football Club
- Since 2006
- English, Nepali
I've coached rugby at Dharan Football Club since 2006. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Kamala
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Kamala: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
