Coach Junior
Chess coach, Heritage Sports Club
- 🇯🇲 Half-Way Tree, Saint Andrew, Jamaica
- Heritage Sports Club
- 1997 to 2005
- English
I coached chess at Heritage Sports Club from 1997 to 2005. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
