Coach Juma

Netball and fitness coach, Dar es Salaam

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Valley View Boxing Gym
  • Since 2004
  • English
I've coached netball at Valley View Boxing Gym since 2004. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Coach Juma

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Juma: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
