Coach Julia
Swimming and fitness coach, Hamilton
- 🇳🇿 Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand
- Hillcrest Sports Club
- Since 1989
- English
I've coached swimming at Hillcrest Sports Club since 1989. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Julia
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Julia: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
