I've coached softball at Newcastle upon Tyne Heritage Boxing Gym since 2001. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
