I coached netball at San Jose Hillcrest Football Club from 1996 to 2014. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
More about Coach Josephine
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Josephine: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
