Coach Jose
Cross country and fitness coach, Laredo
- 🇺🇸 Laredo, Texas, United States
- Laredo Swimming Club
- 1980 to 2006
- English, Spanish
I coached cross country at Laredo Swimming Club from 1980 to 2006. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Coach Jose
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
