Coach José
Dance coach, Barranquilla Sports Club
- 🇨🇴 Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia
- Barranquilla Sports Club
- 1997 to 2024
- English
I coached dance at Barranquilla Sports Club from 1997 to 2024. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach José
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
