Coach José
Youth volleyball coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Since 1982
- Portuguese
I've coached volleyball at Guarulhos Sports Club since 1982. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Coach José
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach José: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
