Coach José
Rugby coach, Erie Swimming Club
- 🇺🇸 Erie, Pennsylvania, United States
- Erie Swimming Club
- Since 2002
- English
For 24 years I've run the rugby program at Erie Swimming Club in Erie. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Coach José
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach José: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
