I've coached tennis at Frangipani Boxing Gym since 1998. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Coach John: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
