Coach Johan
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Kingsway Youth Club
- 2012 to 2025
- English
I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 740 kids fall in love with the game.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
What gifts mean to Coach Johan: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Augsburg.
