I coached netball at Sacramento Victory Athletic Club from 1984 to 2016. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

You coached me in 2014. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Breda.
