Coach Joaquín
Coached netball for 46 years in Guadalupe
- 🇲🇽 Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico
- Brookfield Athletic Club
- Since 1980
- Spanish, English
I've coached netball at Brookfield Athletic Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Joaquín
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Joaquín: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
